The local take
InSitu is a bar and restaurant at 18 Sydney Road, just off the Corso, and it has been trading in Manly for more than 20 years. It's part bar, part restaurant and part live music venue, with an alfresco courtyard and live music in the bar in the evenings.
The bar does cocktails and runs a happy hour, and the kitchen keeps going with pizzas and share plates. At weekends it opens in the morning for breakfast and brunch. The crowd skews local, and weekend nights are the liveliest.
It opens from late afternoon on weekdays and from the morning at weekends, and stays open late on weekend nights. Check the hours below before you go. It's a good place to start or end a night in central Manly, or for a weekend brunch in the courtyard.
