Hotel Steyne
The all-in-one Manly pub night — rooftop sunsets, live music and a dance floor under one roof.
The local take
The Steyne has anchored the beach end of the Corso since 1936, and a night out in Manly still tends to start, pass through, or end here. It's really four venues stacked into one grand corner pub: the front bars for a schooner in the sun, the Top Deck terrace looking straight down the Corso to the water, Henry's for acoustic sessions and open-mic nights, and Moonshine upstairs with its balcony over the beach — the closest thing Manly has to a proper late-night room.
The 2022 renovation sharpened the cocktails and the food without sanding off the pub soul. Travellers on TripAdvisor mark it down for busy-night service, and it's true you won't get table service at midnight on a Saturday — but that's not really what anyone comes for. Come for the view, the bands and the fact that everyone you met on the beach that day will be here by ten.
