The local take
Whistler Pizza is a small Italian restaurant at 16 Belgrave Street, a short walk from the wharf. Two friends, Federico and Tony, opened it in December 2019, and it was named Best New Restaurant in 2022.
The pizza dough ferments for 72 hours and is made in-house, then hand-stretched. The pizzas are backed by hearty pastas and Italian classics. The two dishes regulars rave about are the funghi pizza and the rigatoni with beef cheek ragù, slow-cooked for four hours. Save room for the tiramisu.
It opens every evening from 4pm to 9.30pm. You can eat in, take away or order online. It's a good, unfussy dinner close to the ferry, and one of the best-rated pizzerias in Manly.
