Stanley
Cantonese banquets and tableside Peking duck on the wharf.
The local take
Stanley took over the Manly Wharf room Queen Chow left behind and opened in September 2026 under Louis Tikaram, whose Brisbane original at Howard Smith Wharves built its name on Cantonese cooking through Australian produce. The Manly kitchen runs live seafood tanks and a custom woodfired duck oven, and the Peking duck is carved at the table — $66 for pancakes, or $120 for the whole bird "Imperial style", half carved and half as san choy bao.
It is built for sharing and priced accordingly. Dim sum runs $19–24 a plate, the Experience banquet starts at $88 a head, and the Indulgence menu climbs to $250 with caviar and rock lobster. Come for a long lunch with the harbour filling the windows — and note the surcharges: 10% on Sundays, 15% on public holidays, and a discretionary 10% service charge for groups of eight or more.
