Nomad is one of Sydney's most respected independent breweries, and its Brookvale warehouse taproom is where the whole range runs on tap — from clean lagers to the barrel-aged and Italian-influenced specials that win it awards. It's a working brewery first: tanks behind the bar, brewers wandering through, and a food truck or kitchen pop-up covering the essentials.

Brookvale is ten minutes north of Manly by bus or Uber, and Nomad plus Bucketty's and Manly Spirits make the industrial estate a legitimate afternoon crawl. If you take beer seriously, this is the stop that justifies the trip.
