The local take
The Pantry, the restaurant in the pavilion on the North Steyne promenade, has closed. Its beachfront lease changed hands on 1 October 2026, and the owners have said they're relocating elsewhere in Manly. No new address has been announced yet.
The site itself is being renovated by the new leaseholders, the team behind The Beach Eatery at Curl Curl, who are reviving its old name as The Beach House Manly and aiming to open for summer trade. We'll update this page when either opens.
For a meal with a beach view in the meantime, Fins & Ribs faces the sand on South Steyne, a ten-minute walk south along the promenade.
