Sunset Sabi
Creative sushi rolls worth the walk up Pittwater Road.
The local take
Sunset Sabi, on Pittwater Road a few blocks north of the Corso, has built a devoted following for playful, generously constructed sushi that ignores the rulebook in the good way. Upper-middle prices, a 4.5 from travellers, and a room that fills with locals who order like they've memorised the menu — because they have.
It's far enough from the beachfront to stay under the tourist radar, which is precisely why it's worth knowing about. One of the north end's most reliable dinners.
