Fusion Point is a family-run café in Rialto Square on Wentworth Street, between the Corso and the wharf. It opened in 1999, which makes it one of the longest-running cafés in central Manly, and it has kept a loyal local following ever since.
Breakfast is the main event, and it's served all day. Reviewers return for the generous serves, the coffee and the friendly staff. The menu runs on into lunch, with burgers and café plates, and there are vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
It's open every day from 6am to 5pm, so it's one of the earliest coffees in town for the first ferry or a dawn swim. The undercover outdoor tables in the square are sheltered from wind and rain. The café has step-free access throughout. It's an easy, reliable breakfast near the wharf, away from the crowds on the beachfront.
