Middle Harbour 16ft Skiff Club
Sailing-club dinners with Middle Harbour doing the view.
The local take
The 16ft Skiff Club on Spit Road is one of the peninsula's worst-kept secrets: a genuine sailing club where the public can walk in, grab a table, and watch the skiffs and the light on Middle Harbour while eating far better than club-bistro clichés suggest.
Prices sit mid-to-upper for the area but the water views come free, and Sunday afternoons here are a Northern Beaches institution. It's technically closer to the Spit than to Manly's beachfront — pair it with the Spit-to-Manly walk and you've built yourself a very good day.
